We are now two sister organisations ….
The River Nile School educates senior-secondary school-age refugee & asylum seeker women who have disrupted schooling or are struggling to cope with mainstream education.
The new River Nile Learning Centre was established in 2017 to provide education programs & services to non-school age, refugee & asylum seeker women.
A requirement of our School’s registration was separation of services for adult learners.
Unique aspects of our service include:
- Childcare 👶🏽 on site for students who are young mums
- Welfare support to resolve complex personal issues for students
- Individual Learning Plans tailored to each students needs.
✅ are registered charities, recognized by the ATO as Deductible Gift Recipients ( DGR ). All donations of $2 & above are tax-deductible.
✅ provide all services free-of-charge to disadvantaged students, unable to contribute to the cost of their education.
✅ seek to break the cycle of dependence on social welfare of the students through education.
