• Student Resource Packages – Freemasons Grant

Freemasons_PublicCharitableFoundation_logoWe are very grateful to the Freemasons Public Charitable Foundation for their recent grant. Mr Peter Bryce presented a cheque for $4800 to Father Don Edgar and our students, Letekidan Teke, Agum Maluach and Ascher Gout (pictured below).

The grant will help provide Student Resource Packages, including books, tablets and educational software. These packages significantly help to enhance the learning experiences of our students on a daily basis, up-skilling them in important ICT skills that they need for the workforce. The resources also make their learning more engaging and support their ongoing literacy work, which provides a vital foundation for  everything they do at River Nile Learning Centre.

Without the support of organisations such as the Freemasons, we would not be able to offer the programs to support these young women. We look forward to the improvements this grant will make to the resources they can access in classes.photo of the cheque
